IPSS provide video data and weather for the new website at progressive clubs that cater to 1800 members
UK-19 October 2011-MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of high resolution digital, network-based video security has released details of the installation in Aldeburgh Yacht Club, a prestigious and high profile facilities that helped to power a new online service to help members plan trips sailing, protect the site and help with the racing event. Founded in 1897, Aldeburgh Yacht Club (AYC) is located on the coast of Suffolk and serving all aspects of the sport of sailing. The Club has over 1800 members who participate in various activities including racing on weekends from April to December with class keelboat and dinghy.
As part of its ongoing strategy to improve the Club, it was suggested to David Keates, Secretary of the AYC that video feed waters surrounding the Club as well as weather conditions would be useful to members of the planning service visits. High resolution video system installation can also provide additional security and help with the race. Traditionally, the race goes on, but it can be a difficult job with up to 20 vessels pass through the finish line in a matter of seconds.
“The team of IPSS have been very helpful and we will work with them in order to develop videos to new Club web site,” Keates concluded.
