Swastika earrings are reportedly no longer for sale in Brooklyn jewelry store

New York City Council Steve Levin, D-Brooklyn, visit Bejeweled in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, on Wednesday and met with the owner of young Sook Kim, who agreed to remove it from the shelf, the daily news report.

A day earlier, politicians and supporters say FoxNews.com that earrings are the latest examples of anti-Semitism in New York and New Jersey. Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer demands that the store immediately stop selling them.

“Let me be clear-the swastika is not a fashion statement,” Stringer said in a statement to the FoxNews.com. “It is the most hateful symbol in our culture, and an insult to the civilized people.”
